SharkBite U870B5 is a cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) pipe designed for potable water applications in residential and commercial installations. This flexible tubing eliminates the need for rigid pipe and multiple connection points, making it ideal for hot and cold water distribution, fire protection systems, and municipal water service lines. The flexibility allows the pipe to bend around corners, reducing installation complexity and cost while minimizing potential leak points.

The blue PEX pipe is printed with a distinctive SharkBite imprint pattern that serves as a visual guide during installation, helping ensure the tube is fully inserted into SharkBite push-fit fittings. This feature eliminates guesswork and promotes faster, more reliable connections. The freeze-resistant design can expand slightly if frozen and contract when thawed, providing dependable performance in varying climates.
